51 Peg

51 Peg is a darkwave/synth rock band from the DMV whose cathartic blend of alt and industrial rock is built upon both the analog past and digital future. Inspired by acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Bauhaus, The Cure, and the Deftones, the band has forged its own emotional soundscape over the past 25 years. Their latest album A\VERSION, released in 2023 has been described as “Elements of industrial, rock, metal, and new wave all coalesce creating a singular vibe that is as impressive in its technological aspects as it is in its emotive melodicism.” - ReGen Magazine

Talking to Shadows

Since the release of their 2021 self-titled debut, Talking to Shadows have been making noise all over their hometown of Baltimore, MD, and beyond. Combining elements of dream pop, noise rock, and shoegaze, their music is reminiscent of the early ‘90s sound perfected by Cocteau Twins and Lush, but with a heavier bent. Their latest single, “Tears,” was recorded by the renowned J Robbins at the Magpie Cage Studio. Released in March of 2024, “Tears” has been hailed in the underground scene for its “iconic sound” and “anthemic vibe.”

Cemetery Sex

Cemetery Sex is a 4-piece outfit founded in Washington, D.C. Elusive and ethereal, Cemetery Sex borrows a variety of music stylings, primarily post-punk, gothic rock and doom metal. Described as deathrock with a darker, doom lean, Cemetery Sex pays a deep homage to the early days of traditional metal, combined with a modern, romantic, rock-based gothic edge. Their melodies are heavily rhythmic, highlighted by driven bass melodies and thundering drums, and topped with scything guitar and vocal melodies. They will be releasing their debut singles in the late spring/early summer of 2024.
