Kid Fears
Kid Fears is a band from Atlanta, GA. They draw on elements of slowcore, shoegaze and dream pop to create a lush and dynamic sonic space. The project started as a solo recording outlet for front person Rose Ewing, whose EPs Touch and Loom from 2019 and 2020 showcase her intimate lofi creations. As the project has developed, partner Ben Ewing has become a collaborator, and the two have further developed their sound. The duo welcomed bassist and drummer Emma Kate Shaw and Michael Whelan, and they are in the process of completing their debut LP.
Mental Notes
Founded in 2020 by Baltimore native Daniel Butko, Mental Notes is a project that explores multiple grounds of sonic territory. Having been inspired by a variety of genres such as Alternative Rock, Psychedelia, Jazz, Shoegaze and Dream Pop, these are all elements that are cohesively blended into the music of Mental Notes, and the collection of sounds continues to be ever growing.
