Jesse Boone

Jesse Boone grew up in Portsmouth, Virginia where his mother personified southern hospitality and extended a hand to anyone in need. With an open door to friends, family, and foster kids, his childhood home was, and is, always full of life and a haven for their community. Amongst the title of artist, son, and friend, Jesse is considered a big brother to over 20 kids, many of whom are now his adopted siblings. By virtue, Jesse has an innate ability to connect with others that can be easily felt by those who meet or listen to him.

Having recognized this, along with his gift for rapping and songwriting, Jesse relocated to New York to pursue music full-time. What started as prolonged couch surfing in Harlem, eventually led him to an apartment in Brooklyn that he could call his own.

From heartfelt and introspective to infectious and ‘fit for a Friday night,’ Jesse’s music mirrors the duality of his listeners’ own lives. Instead of chasing momentary trends, the nature of Jesse’s sound is reminiscent of an artist whose music lives on as a consequence of carving their own path.
